This week we were introduced to our new unit of work. We started by taking a test online to find out our learning styles, then we got into small groups to which classmates were similar to us. It was interesting to see how some people are learn differently to others.
From here we started to look at what a community is. To do this, we all talked about it and used the teacher helped us to organise our ideas by using an online tool called bubbl.us. This helped us to create a concept map by adding things and arranging them how we want. We then printed it up and put it on our wall. The teacher says that we will look at this later to see how much we have learnt.
After this, we got to work in small groups to look at a learning object. This helped us to clarify our understanding of what a community is.
We look forward to finding out more as we go along.
